New web site palette - dark colours
We are using the summer holiday season to move our site to a new host, upgrade to the latest version of the content management system we use (WordPress), and switch to a more modern site design.
We hope the results will make everything easier to find. The brighter magazine-style layout with more images showcases more of the content on the home page. Navigation has been improved with a simpler category structure and new topic maps on the right hand side of every page.

There are several things it will take us a while to get working properly. The most important are:
- forums
- the Readspeaker text-to-speech system
- the site map and accessibility controls
The resources area is now working but still looks a bit of a mess. But all the content – including the latest updates, is there.
You may notice some links are crossed out, particularly external links on on older posts. These are broken links which we are displaying this way to make sure we fix or remove them.
So this is still a work in progress. We hope to have all features fully working and the links cleaned up by the end of the holiday season – i.e. mid-September. Meanwhile please do use the site – the information content is high and we are still adding to it.
